INVITATION

Ladies and gentlemen,

I cordially invite you to the 6th edition of the Scandinavian Days, which this year will be held

on May 14-19, 2019 in Szczecin.

This year's edition of the event is centred around the 100th anniversary of the establishment

of diplomatic relations between Poland and Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

This dignified jubilee is yet another opportunity to celebrate the Scandinavian holiday

in Szczecin. The strategic partner of the event is the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark.

The event will start on Tuesday, the 14th of May with Inaugural Gala at the Mieczysław

Karłowicz Concert Hall. The motivating lecture of Tatiana Mindewicz-Puacz and the concert

of the Czesław Śpiewa band will complement the meetings and conversations

in the Scandinavian atmosphere.

On the 15th of May a business event dedicated to the topics of start-ups, industry 4.0, as well as

issues related to Smarter Living and Working will take place. The event will include

the opportunity to participate in workshops, meetings and business presentations. On that day

I would also like to present you with a new city initiative that opens up various possibilities

of contacts with Scandinavia.

The other days of the event will be filled with equally interesting proposals, both cultural,

scientific and business, and the whole project will end with a colourful Scandinavian Picnic

on Aleja Kwiatowa in the city centre.
