14 Disqualification

Criteria

Tender submitted without EMD & Tender cost and if

any item in tender form remains unquoted will be

rejected.

15 Quoting of rates The rates quoted in the tender shall include all sales tax, excise tax, octroi & other taxes. No escalation of rates will be allowed under any circumstances. However service tax will be paid on actual bill provided the contractor mention their service tax registration no in their bill.

The employer does not bind it to accept the lowest tender and reserves the right to reject

any or all the tenders received without assigning any reason /s there of. The notification of

award of contract will be made to the successful bidder only in writing by the Bank.

T E R M S & C O N D I T I O N S

1. Defect Liability Period: One year after actual completion of work.

2. Total security deposit (TSD): 5 % of the total value of the work. This will be released after the defect liability period.

3. The contractor shall have the responsibility of complying with the local shops/ establishments Act and other labour/ minimum wages Act and shall keep all such records/ accounts on payment of wages/attendance as deemed necessary.

4. Arbitration: As per the standard arbitration clause under the jurisdiction of Calcutta.

5. Organization: The contractor shall employ competent / qualified supervisor / Engineer-in-charge who shall be responsible for the day to day work and coordinate as necessary with the Architect’s supervisor. Any workman found guilty of misconduct / theft shall be removed from the site.

6. Damage to property: Any damage to the Bank’s property during the work period will be recovered from the contractor.

7. The Contractor shall be penalized if the work is not completed within the scheduled time at a rate of Rs.2000 per day.

8. The Contractor should be registered under VAT, failing which the tender will be rejected.

9. Deduction: Income tax at source as per I.T Act.

10. Terms of payment: Payment after completion of the total project.

11. Billing Procedure: All measurements shall be recorded in duplicate on standard measurement sheets prepared jointly by the Architect’s Site engineer & the contractor’s representatives and branch manager, duly signed by all of them. All bills shall be submitted along with this checked measurement sheets.

12. The payment of the bill shall be made as per the actual measurement as certified by the architect.

13. The Architect or any officer of the Employers will be free to inspect the work at the site during the period of execution. Any suggestion of change or modification to improve the quality of work will be carried out subject to prior approval of the competent authority of the employers and that of the Architect .

14. In case of failure to take up the work even after accepting the work order, or leaving the work incomplete, or for defective work not rectified , or violation of the terms and conditions, the Bank may take suitable action against the contractor as

appropriate.

15. The Contractor shall have to make their own arrangement at their own cost for storing materials, plants, tools etc. The employers will not be liable for security of the Contractor’s materials.

16. In case of breach of contract by the Contractor for slow progress or works or any other claim of damage, the Employer or the Architect may have the power to re assign the contract without assigning any reasons thereof.

17. The Architect shall have the power to ask the contractor to furnish the sample, colour etc. for any materials used / to be used in the works.

18. The Employer shall not be liable for any damages or compensation payable as a consequence of any accident or injury to any workman or other persons in the employment of the Contractor.

19. On completion of the Works, all rubbish, debris, materials, tools, Labourers, etc. to be removed by the contractor from the site and the contractor will hand over the site clean , clear & in usable condition within 3 days of completion of the works. Failing which, the employer may dispose the materials at the cost of the contractor.

20. In case of any dispute, the matter will be referred to the Zonal Manager, Dena Bank, Zonal Office Kolkata.

3 Providing and fixing Storage Unit made out of 19 mm BB for top, sides & 6 mm Ply for back finished with 1.0mm laminate. The shutters to be made out of 19 mm BB with 1.0 mm laminate. The necessary godrej multipurpose locks 6” SS matt finished handles, auto closing hinges are to be provided. 3”x 1/2” white beach/ white ceader wooden skirting to be provided duly natural polished as per matching tone. Inside of the unit to be synthetic enamel painted in matching tone. All the exposed edges of the boards/ plywoods to be covered with white beach/ white ceader wooden lippings/ mouldings (40 x 25 mm.) duly natural polished all complete. 7 Providing & erecting in position Free Standing Table made of 19 mm. thk. BWP grade block board for sides, top & panel, finished with 1 mm. thk. laminate of approved shade & make including inner faces. Drawer cum cabinet unit of approx. overall size of 400 x 600 x 725 mm. (h) of 19 mm. thk. block board. The drawer unit shall comprise of 1 tea tray, 1 drawer, 1 cabinet with inner faces polished with approved shade. the drawer unit shall be finished with 1 mm. laminate. The quoted price should include cost of teak wood moulding to edges, wood lipping, multi locks of Godrej make & other necessary hardware accessories including SS handles, pvc wire manager, mobile CPU trolley etc. of approved quality. All table should have a side credenza which shall be 900 mm. long., 400 mm. wide & 750 mm. high. The side credenza have shelves with lockable sliding shutter. 9 Providing and fixing Gypsum false ceiling which includes G.I perimeter channels of size 0.55mm thk.( having one flange of 20mm and another flange of 30mm and a web of 27mm) along with perimeter of ceiling,screw fixed to brick wall/partition with the help of nylon sleeves and screws, at 610mm centres. Then suspending G.I intermediate channels of size 45mm ( 0.9mm thk. with two flanges of 15mm each) from the soffit at 1220mm centres with flanges of 26mm each with lips of 10.5 mm are then fixed to the intermediate channel with the help of connecting clip and in direction perpendicular to the intermediated channel at 457mm centres.12.5mm tapered edge Gypboard ( confirming to IS: 2095 - 1982) is then screw fixed to ceiling section with 25mm drywall screws at 230mm centers. Screw fixing is to be done mechanically either with screw driver or drilling machine with suitable attachment. The boards are to be jointed and and finished so as to have a flush look which includes filling and finishing the tapered and square edges of the boards with jointing compound. No extra payment will be made for the cutting of light points , stain glass,cove lighting etc. The measurement will be taken in one level, rate should include the drops also, no extra amount will be paid for the drops. The joints to be properly mended with paper tapes and gypsum compound,two coats of Drywall Top Coat all complete. The rate should include the full completion of the ceiling. At the time of handing over the site all necessary repairing work to be considered if required. The work to be completed as per specification,drawing and approval of the Architect.No Drop or design (if any) will be considered as extra measurement it will be considered flat ceiling.

11 Providing & fixing Rolling Shutters Encasement & Entry Lobby Panelling fabricated out of 3mm thick (0.5mm + 2 mm + 0.5mm) ACP in approved colours for top sides, front and bottom with necessary openable shutter at bottom, hardware including locks, hinges & handles. The job to be completed as per approval of architect.

12 Providing and fixing Main Panel Encasement in position fabricated out of 19mm BWP B/B with 1 mm laminate finished for top, both sides and front with necessary hardware including locks,hinges and handles. Encasement will be having louver and 6mm thk. Glass for seeing the indicator in both shutters.The exposed sorface of 19mm block board will be finished with TW / white ceader lipping with natural polish and inside of the encasement shall be finished with enamel paint. The item is to be completed in all respect as per design ,specification and approval of the Architect.

13 Providing & fixing writing ledge as per design made out of 19mm block board with necessary groove patterns 1.0mm laminate to be cladded 18mm thk telephone black granite with bull nosed moulding (double) at facia to be provided on top of the writing ledge. A divider made of 19mm block board to be provided. White beach/white ceader lipping with natural polish to be used in all exposed areas, inside of writing ledge to be enamel painted. 14 Providing and fixing soft board/ notice board fabricated out of 12mm BWR ply covered with 12mm soft board padding and upholsply propylene fabric @80/ mtr. Edges of the soft board should have white beach/white ceader moulding with natural polished. NB : where pin up board is in a panelled area, the top of the pin up board should be flushed with the panel, kepping the same level. The work should be completed as per design specification & approval of the architect.

15 Providing and fixing Drop / Suggestion Box (400 x 600 x 150 mm.) made out of 19mm BWR Ply and finished with 1 mm. laminate and enamel painted insde. A 6" long slit is to be made in the front for inserting letters etc. The shutter should have a glass panel at bottom. The work should be completed in all respects as per design specification & approval of the architect.

Control unit shall be of derlin. The runners are also to be a derlin withantiflixtion adeshive. Spacers should be made of stainless steel. Febric should be polyester viscosted/polyester yarn having protective coating with chemicals for stain resistance & soilrepalancy. The rate shall include necessary scoch gurd treatment on both sides.
