Junior/Cadet World Fencing Championships 02 – 10 April 2010 Baku/ AZERBAIJAN The 2010 Cadet and Junior World Fencing Championships will be conducted from April 2 to 10 in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan that is located in the junction point of Eastern and Western Civilizations. Azerbaijan Fencing Federation requests the pleasure of your participation at this International Sport Tournament. We hope the Championships will stay in your memory not only with its achievements, but also leave highest impressions of the colorful Azerbaijani culture and rich traditions of hospitality of our nation.

Du 2 Avril au 10 avril 2010, à la capitale d’Azerbaïdjan Bakou qui se trouve au centre des civilizations orientaux et occidentaux sera organizer le Championnat du Monde entre les jeunnes et les adolescents. La Fédération de l’Escrime d’Azerbaïdjan avec le grand plaisir vous invite de faire participation dans cette compétition internationale. Nous éspérons que vous vous rapplerez toujours ce championnat du Monde non seulement avec les succèss sportifs, nous sommes sûre que après cette compétition notre pays réstera dans vos mémoirs avec ses beautiés et les hospitalités de ses habitants.

Azerbaiyán Federacion de Esgrima es con gran placer le invita a particular en esta competición. 6. Entries:

The entries for the fencers have to be made directly on the website of the F.I.E. before the 16 of MARCH, 2010

Preliminary entry (by event and numbers): This form (Annex 1) has to be received by the Organization Committee until 20 of FEBRUARY, 2010

Entry form for officials and accompanying person (by name): This form (Annex 2) has to reach the Organization Committee until 15 of MARCH, 2010

7. Equipments:

All the fencers should be equipped in accordance with F.I.E. rules. They have to prevent their equipment at the weapon control the day before their competition.

8. Anti - Doping Control:

The anti – doping control will be executed according to the F.I.E. regulations

9. Entry Fee: The rate of entry fees is as follows:

Individual event 55 Euro / person / event. Team event 140 Euro / team / event.

The entry fee is to be paid at the moment of the accreditation.

10. Accreditation: For each athlete, coach und member of delegation a photo should be sent as "jpg". The photos should be - 640 pixel high and 480 pixel wide - taken with an unicoloured black or blue background - a portrait photo - and named, for example : BEL_VanLaecke_Yoeri.jpg. The visa fee is equal to the fee paid by Azerbaijan citizens in the country of foreigner for which the visa is issued. In order to obtain a visa, participants are requested to present at Embassies of Azerbaijan Republic or at BAKU airport the invitation letter and filled visa application form.
