Special Assemblies

New Session brings new hope, new task to accomplish and new ways to explore and learn .Junior block began their session with enthusiasm. Class III had the privilege to have the first assembly of the session NEVER SAY I CAN’T, AL-WAYS SAY I WILL and NEVER LEAVE TODAY’S WORK FOR TOMORROW. Children recited the poem RUKO NAHIN BADE CHALO and explained it to the students that they should face difficulties bravely and move forward in life. Also they should be confident to achieve their goal, do their duties faithfully and set an example for the country men. Junior block celebrated Earth Day which rejuvenated the thought of reviving Mother earth from the agony of careless human activities. The students took the audience into space where a family was bound to live in artificial environment as there was no space on earth for them to live. This provoked a thought among the audience to find out ways to prevent our Earth from air, water and land pollution which in turn is continuously harming the beauty of earth. A small poem “What do we plant when we plant a tree?”, was also presented signifying the uses of trees. The feeling of celebrating the earth’s birthday added hues when it unfolded the creativity of little naturalists by their paper collage work. The assembly conducted by Class II was focussed on the significance of one of the most precious gift of god - Family. This was enacted by a poem where young children were colourfully dressed representing the different members of a family. The beautiful message was conveyed through the banners which emphasised the love we possess for our lovely family. It ended with the message - I love my sweet family. Class I conducted the assembly on "GOOD HABITS FOR GOOD HEALTH". The motto behind this assembly was to inculcate good hygienic habits and to educate them about the importance of discipline in school and at home and keep our surroundings clean. Informative assembly about how to spend holidays was also organized so that they could spend quality time with their parents and grandparents.

Fun Filled Activities “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”

Our nursery prep kids are very well informed about this!!!!! Yes this week fun filled activities were planned for our kids. Monday the 23rdApril’12 was decided for Lemonade Making and Friday the 27th April ’12 for Fruit Chaat Making. Our little ones proved to be extraordinary chefs. They enthusiasti-cally prepared lemonade on their own and the pride of this achievement was clearly seen on their faces. This activity was not merely to teach them how to make lemonade but also to create awareness of fluid intake in summer season and the benefits of lemon. Fruit Chaat Making was accomplished with full vigour as well. It was a group activity where all kids had contributed by getting peeled and cut fruits from home .With the assistance of teachers they all prepared mouthwa-tering fruit chaat. Our nursery kids looked adorable wearing the chef’s caps and aprons. Our objective was to incorporate habit of eating fruits which was heartily adopted by our kids. This activity also made them learn about sharing as all the kids collectively did this activity. Recapitulation of this activity was also done later on 1st may by setting a fruit vendor stall which all the kids visited to identify various fruits. In all, making our kids learn through activities which they thoroughly enjoy is our aim.
