For your students…

• No more than 6 students to a group

• Topics can be:– Chosen from website list of options (coming soon)

– Use science data from mission folder

– Come up with their own

• Develop testable question, design investigation, conduct it, analyze data, compile results into science poster

Safety & Ethical Issues

• Safety considerations when working with:– Chemicals– Mold and micro-organisms– Electricity– Radiation– Vertebrate Animals (including humans)

• Ethical considerations:– Do no harm– Treat vertebrates and invertebrates humanely

Mini-proposals (due Feb 16th)

Science Posters

• Tri-folds

• Top poster will be reviewed by scientists and education team, with students presenting it

• Second and third runner up posters can be brought to be set up for others to see
