Water resources are amongst the most important natural resources in Albania. Eight large rivers, fed by hundreds of smaller rivers and streams, run through the country from East to West. The average height of the hydrographic territory of Albania is about 700 m above sea level.

SOLAR ENERGYSOLAR ENERGYAlbania is part of the Mediterranean climate zone. This means that it has a hot, dry summer followed by a relatively short and mild winter.
