Food: Sponges are filter feeders. They eat tiny, floating organic particles and plankton that they filter.

Fun Facts: Its DNA is identical to their parents DNA. They are called Sessile as adults.

Predators: many different animals prey on earthworms. Which is one reason why they spend so much time burrowing into and around the dirt.

Fun Facts: They can grow up to 11 feet long. It has no lungs or gills so it breathes through its thin skin.
