We can say PIPING is about designing, fabricatingand constructing lines conveying FLUIDS.

What is a PIPELINE?

A PIPELINE conveys a fluid from one given point ofthe plant usually called INLET point of the line, toanother part of the plant usually called OUTLETpoint of the line.

A PIPELINE can also connect one PIPELINE toanother PIPELINE.

PIPELINES can also discharge the conveyed fluidinto the environment (VENTS and DRAIN)
