Introductory Guide for Facility Users

Welcome to FLHealthSTAT, the State of Florida’s Online Status Tracking and Availability Tool. This guide will help get

you started. The first part (pages 1-9) will walk you through obtaining your account password and setting up your user

account. The second part (pages 10-18) will give you an overview of the layout and navigation in FLHealthSTAT.

The last page (page 19) has the link for accessing additional user guides and tutorial videos.

Enter your email address (the email address at which you received the FLHealthSTAT notification) and

click “Recover”.

You will see the following message:

Check your email. You will receive a message similar to the one below. Click the indicated link to confirm your

request and reset your password.

The link will open the Password Reset page

Enter a new password that is at least 8 characters long, and includes three of the following character types:

o Uppercase letter

o Lowercase letter

o Number

o Special Character (!, @,#,$,%,^,&,*)

Re-enter the password to confirm it.

There are 3 Security Questions to set up. These will be used to verify your identity if you forget your password

in the future. Select a question from the drop-down menu , and enter the answer in the text box below

each question , for Security Question 1, Security Question 2, and Security Question 3.

Read the End User License Agreement (EULA) at the bottom of the page and check the “I agree” box.

You must agree to abide by the terms of the EULA to access the system. After checking the box click “Save

Changes”.

You will see the following screen, indicating that your password and security questions have been confirmed.

Click the “Back to Login” link to return to the Login page.

At the Login page enter your email address and password. Click “Sign In” to access FLHealthSTAT.

Login to FLHealthSTAT at https://flhealthstat.com

Welcome Page

There are 3 main navigation components in FLHealthSTAT

Active Facility Name/Menu

User Name/Menu

The Navigation Menu

Active Facility Name/Menu

This is the name of the facility you are accessing. It will always be displayed at the top of the screen.

If you have access to multiple facilities, the name will also be a menu. To view or update information for a

different facility, click on the name of the active facility at the top of the page. This will open a menu of

the other facilities you have access to.

Click the name of the facility you want to view.

The system will refresh, and the name of the new active facility will be displayed.

User Name/Menu

Click on your name at the top right of the screen to open your User menu.

The User menu has 3 or 4 items, depending on your system role.

Role

This identifies your system role. Your role determines what you can see and do in FLHealthSTAT. There are 2 roles for

users at the facility level:

1) Facility System Administrator

2) Facility System User

Users with either role can update facility statuses and view and respond to notification. Users with the Facility System

Administrator role also have administrative rights to edit the Facility Information page and manage the facility’s user

accounts.

Edit Profile

Click on Edit Profile to make changes to your user information or reset your password.

Make changes to your name, phone numbers, or email address. Click the blue “Save Changes” button

at the bottom of the screen to save your updates.

Enter a mobile phone number if you would like to receive text notifications from FLHealthSTAT in

addition to email notifications.

ATTENTION: Your email address is also your login ID for accessing FLHealthSTAT. If you change your

email address, you have changed your login ID. You must use the new email address to login the next

time you access the system.

It is recommended that you change your password periodically. Make the change here. Click the blue

“Save Changes” button to complete the password change.

Facility Information

Click “Facility Information” to open the Facility Information page. The Facility Information page is where you

can enter Emergency Contacts for your facility, and customize the bed types and systems that will appear on

your Facility Status page.

Logout

Click Logout to end your session in FLHealthSTAT and exit the system.

Navigation Menu

The Navigation menu on the left side of the screen has 5 sections. Click on a section header to view the

menu options in that section.

What is available to you see and open in the navigation menu will vary based on your role and the kind of

facility you are accessing.

Notifications Click “Notifications” to see three menu options; Alerts, Information Shares, and Events. Click any one of the

three to view active and archived notifications of that type.

Status Click “Status” to access and update your Facility Status Page.

If you are a user at a Dialysis Center or any of the Non-Hospital Facility Types, or a Hospital that does not have

an Emergency Department, you will click “Update Facility” to access the Facility Status Page.

If you are a user at a Hospital that does have an Emergency Department, you will see two options.

o Click “Update Facility” to update the Hospital Facility Status page.

o Click “Update ED” to update the Emergency Department saturation numbers.

If you are a user at a Stand Alone Emergency Department, you will only see “Update ED”

Administration This section is only accessible to users with the Facility System Administrator Role

Click “Administration”, and click “Users” to access your facility’s user management screen, where you can create

and delete user accounts, add and remove users from your facility user list, unlock accounts, reset passwords,

and change user roles.

Support Click support to access:

o “Links” – a page of links to useful webpages, including the FLHealthSTAT User Resource page, where you

will find FLHealthSTAT User Guides and Tutorial Videos.

o “Contact Support” – The toll-free phone number and email address for the FLHealthSTAT Help Desk.
