Hello Everyone! First off, my name is Cami and I am 19
years old. I am currently a sophomore at MSUM.
I am majoring in biology with an emphasis in ecology and evolutionary
biology. I plan on continuing on with school after
I finish my four years at MSUM to become a Veterinarian Technician.
I grew up on a small dairy farm where I worked until I went to college.
I graduated from a class of 65 students. I am the youngest of 3 kids with two
older brothers. I have one dog and a new puppy;
Liberty and Oliver I recently just became an aunt
I love animals!
I enjoy playing
volleyball
I love everything about rain
I eat pretty much anything
I scrapbook in my free
time
Feet gross me out
I love roller coasters
I like to listen rather than talk
I listen to any kind
music
Dumb and Dumber is my all time

Born in Vermont After graduation she
taught Math, English, Latin, Physiology and Zoology and also worked as a librarian
Attended Stanford University in 1896 at 35 years old and later Bryn Mawr college
Quit teaching and instead researched and studied different aspects of biology
She published approx. 38 papers in her 11 years on her different forms of research and experiments
Won numerous awards for her work
Nettie Stevens was inducted in the National Women’s Hall of Fame in 1994
because of her contributions to genetics in determining the sex based X and Y
chromosomes as well as her contributions to science and biology as
a whole
I am fascinated by genetics and how traits are passed on from parental generations to their offspring which is what she studied
I am a biology major so obviously I like science as well as her
She contributed to further experimentation and discovery of other major aspects in science
