SG3 - Action Plan
§ Framework-2 Action plan:
§ Close gaps and reduce overlaps of identified standards;
§ Orchestrate a tangible plan to involve TCs withidentified standards to interact with each other,and incorporate Smart Grid design in theirfuture planning;
§ Encourage the use of the PAS process tojumpstart the standards process and buy time.
§ Investigate a conformity assessment typescheme for testing and certification of howstandards are implemented in Smart Griddevices and projects.

Paris Workshop/ Post Workshop
§ It was agreed that SG3 would host a TC/SC Officer’sworkshop on Smart Grid on Friday July 2, 2010, inParis.
§ The workshop invited the officers of the 25-identifiedSmart Grid TC/SCs assemble in order to have eachTC/SC make a presentation to SG3 on their identifiedSmart Grid standards, and to bring forth to SG 3questions of what their roles are from SG 3.
§ STATUS: Officers from 15 of the 25 smart grididentified TC/SC attended: ISO/IEC JTC1, ISO/IECJTC1 SC25, SC3D, TC8, TC13, TC38, TC57, TC64,TC69, TC72, SC77A, SC86A, TC95, TC100 and CISPR(remote call-in).
