개발 분야 : Mobile, Wearable 등 전자기기의 보급화에 따라 배터리 소모량을 줄이면서 성능을 낼 수 있

는 저전력 기술이 필요해 지고 있으며 특히 의료 기기에서의 저전력 기술이 대두되고 있음

Fast Locking을 통해 Active 시간을 줄이며 Data 전송을 하는 동안 PLL Off를 통하여 Power를 줄이는

개발 분야 : 자동차는 기계식에서 전자식 부품 장치로 빠르게 발전함에 따라 센서나 통신기술을 활용한

기술이 발전하고 있으며 특히 자동차에 사용되는 센서의 역할이 증대되고 있음

개발 분야 : 정보량이 급속히 증가하면서, 고속으로 data를 전송하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으

며, 그 중에서도 VCSEL Diode를 이용한 광통신 PON (Passive Optical Network) 시스템에 관한 연

구가 집중적으로 이루어지고 있음.

정확한 Power 전송을 위해, 출력 전류를 디지털 로직 피드백 루프로 구현, data 속도에 따라

Bandwidth를 제어하여 전류를 최적화 하도록 함.

개발 분야: Chip의 소형화로 인해서 스위칭 Frequency가 높아짐에 따라서 Switching loss를 줄이는 방향으로 개발이 많이 되고 있음. 특히, Light load (저전력) 에서 효율이 중요해 짐에따라 PFM / PWM Dual

Mode 설계 연구가 활발히 진행 중임

Heavy Load 에서는 PWM 모드로 고 주파수로 스위칭 하고, Load 가 줄어 듬에 따라서 PFM 모드로 변환됨. PWM은 Closed Loop System 으로 동작을 하게 되며, PFM은 Control Logic을 통해 ON / OFF
