BOP ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES

Key Risk Item Underwriting GuidelineTotal TIV • $15M per account, $7.5M per location

• 100% TIV is required

Revenue • $20M per account, $10M per location• $10M per account, $5M per location for restaurants

Square Footage • Up to 50,000 sq ft, except for restaurants up to 10,000 sqft

Building Age • No restrictions on age, but buildings over 20 years old require standard updates

# of Stories • Buildings up to 3 stories for non-Office and up to 6 stories for Office are eligible• Note: n/a if not requesting building coverage

Employees • Up to 50 employees

Loss History • No more than 3 claims in the past 5 years with no loss exceeding $20k (does not include CAT losses)

Prior Insurance • Continuous coverage required for past 3 years• Does not apply to new ventures (which are eligible)

Vacancy • Up to 30% of total square footage can be vacant• Seasonal exposures with vacancy up to 60 days are eligible

Hours • Businesses must close by 1:00am

• No bars, taverns, nightclubs, dance floors, stages

• Rating class code based on largest occupant

• Unless a restaurant is a tenant, in which case the restaurant code will be used

• Rated on insured value of the building

• Incidental parking exposure is contemplated

• Habitational/mixed use is ineligible

• Prime examples are strip malls, shopping centers, office buildings, single occupancy with tenants any mix of restaurants, retail, services, and offices
