SOCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY

• ICS has dedicated regulatory and audit managers on staff and also works with several 3rd party ethical auditing consultants with expertise in China and Taiwan.

• ICS screens factories and audits in accordance with ethical initiatives including ETI and SA8000.

• Social accountability and ethical trade are key aspects of our ICS corporate policy. In the 25 years since ICS was founded, these core issues have been incorporated in our structure, policies and procedures and daily supply chain and corporate management

• ICS supplier selection process supports ethical trade and systems, including:

– ICS screens all suppliers before adding to supplier list and our supplier screening form includes section on ethical issues.

– ICS works with factory sources to help them achieve ethical related certifications and 3rd party social audits so that we can

continually grow our supply base of ethically certified suppliers.

– ICS has designated staff members with the job responsibility to manage and maintain regular factory audits and updates

on certifications.

• In addition, ICS corporate policy includes a focus on supporting environmental sustainability and supporting

ethical trade and use of ethically audited and/or certified suppliers whenever possible.

• We ensure our operation fully complies with local regulations and laws and products meet all regulations for

their country and/or regions of sale as required.


SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT

• ICS has ensured these are provided in English and Chinese to ensure all responsible parties fully understand requirements.

• ICS Supplier Code of Conduct contains additional requirements of ICS Social Accountability Program including standard ETI/SA8000 social requirements such as:

– Labor, Human Rights and Health and Safety requirements

– Employment is Freely chosen

– Freedom of Association and right to collective bargaining are respected

– Child Labor shall not be used

– Living wages are paid

– Working hours are not excessive

– No discrimination is practiced

– No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed

– Working conditions are safe and hygienic

biggest trends in cosmetics

in the past decade.

ICS was the 1st to develop the chubby pencil for
