Setting up the Breezy Server ConnectorIt is designed to be installed on either regular or Core Edition Windows servers.
Installing and configuring the Breezy Server Connector takes just minutes. The guide belowincludes requirements, installation instructions, and a few troubleshooting tips.
Please contact your account manager if you experience any difficulties during the installation ofthe Breezy Server Connector or configuration of the Breezy Dashboard.
REQUIREMENTS
Breezy Server Connector Requirements for Windows Server 2003/2008There are a few software requirements to be met prior to installing the Breezy Server Connector:
1. Minimum SP1 installed2. .NET framework 4.0 (If not installed, use the link below to download):

Breezy Server Connector Requirements for Core EditionThe requirements are slightly different for installing the Breezy Server Connector on a CoreEdition server:
1. Minimum SP1 installed2. .NET 4.0 framework (If 4.0 framework is not installed, prepare server for installing .NET
4.0 framework by turning on all of the following):a. WoW64: c:\start /w ocsetup ServerCoreWOW64b. .NET 2.0 layer: c:\start /w ocsetup NetFx2ServerCorec. .NET 2.0 layer for WoW64: c:\start /w ocsetup NetFx2ServerCoreWOW64

Breezy Server Connector and Beacon Installation Instructions:Windows Server 2003/2008
The Breezy Server Connector is designed to work in conjunction with the Breezy WebDashboard to mobileenable your printers. Follow the steps below to install it:
1. Open the Breezy Dashboard: https://dashboard.breezy.com2. Sign in with your assigned Breezy Username/Password.3. On the Dashboard tab, click on Breezy Server Products to expand selection.4. Follow the steps to getting started with Breezy.5. Download the Breezy Server Connector via the link provided on the dashboard.
6. Copy the Breezy Server Connector file to the intended server7. Run the Connector installation, making sure you are running the installer as a user
having access to the printers you wish to mobileenable.

8. Check the box to agree to the EULA, click next.
9. Select Connector, Beacon or Connect and Beacon for install setup type.● The Connector mobileenables your enterprise printer fleet.● Beacon enables AirPrint functionality for iOS devices over enterprise subnets.

The Authenticate box is checked by default to run automatically upon install typeselection. Leave this box checked unless you are certain automatic authentication will bean issue. Select install type and go to step 10 to Authenticate.
10. Authenticate Enter your assigned Breezy Dashboard Username/Password. If you useHTTP Proxy check the box and if not leave unchecked. Click next.

11. If you left “Use HTTP Proxy” unchecked, confirm and complete installation.12. If you checked “Use HTTP Proxy” enter your proxy information. Click next.
13. Complete Server Connector installation and go to step 14. You may then log outand the Breezy Server Connector and/or Beacon will continue to run in the backgroundas a windows service.

Authentication Error Message. Should you receive an error message in steps 1013 please return tostep 7 and retry Breezy Server Connector Installation. At step 9 uncheck the box to authenticate. Selectinstall type. Complete install. The service MUST be manually (re)authenticated after install before it willstart. Before you return to step 7 read note below to see how to manually (re)authenticate afterinstall:
There are two ways you can manually (re)authenticate and start the service after install: either from thecommand line, or from the Services console.
1) Start the service from a DOS prompt:
sc start “Breezy Connector Service” username [email protected] userpasswordopenSesame proxyaddresshttp://proxy.breezy.com proxydomain proxy.breezy.com proxyusernameproxyUser –proxypassword anotherPassword
2) From Services, copy only the arguments into “Start parameters” and click start:
14. If only the Connector was installed: return to dashboard and complete configurationof your Breezy enabled printer network.
If Beacon or Beacon and Connector were installed and you do not have BonjourServices installed and running: follow the additional steps below.

15. Installing Bonjour Services for Beacon. After the installation, if you installed Beaconbut don’t have Bonjour services installed and running, install this service from the setupfile included in the Breezy folder here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Breezy\Connector\Bonjour.msi
Note: Select Bonjour.msi or Bonjour64.msi to reflect the bitness of the OS hosting theConnector
16. If you installed Bonjour in the previous step, restart the Beacon service.17. Open the port 8631 (e.g. netsh firewall add portopening TCP 8631 "Open Port 8631 for
Breezy Beacon").18. Return to dashboard.breezy.com. Select the Printers tab. Select the printer you want to
Airprintenable. Click on the settings icon and select the Beacon that should advertisethis printer. Click Save changes.
19. Shortly after clicking “Save Changes” above, the newly advertised printers should appearon the same subnet that is hosting the Breezy Beacon.
Complete Dashboard Configuration of your Breezy enabled printer network.

The Breezy Server Connector upon installation is designed to work in conjunction with theBreezy Dashboard to ready printers for sharing. Below are the specific steps when installing viaCore Edition:
1. Go Online to Breezy Dashboard URL: https://dashboard.breezy.com2. Sign in with your assigned Breezy Username/Password.3. On the Dashboard tab, click on Breezy Server Products to expand selection.4. Follow the steps to getting started with Breezy.5. Download the Breezy Server Connector to a local machine via the link provided
6. RDP into core server and map a drive to the machine where the Breezy ServerConnector was downloaded:
a. net use x: \\machine\share <password> /User:domain\username
7. Copy the Breezy Server Connector file
a. copy x:\<filelocation>\Breezy.Connector.Windows.Setup.msi c:\

8. Run the Connector installation, making sure you are running the installer as a user havingaccess to the printers you wish to mobileenable.

Setup of the Breezy Server Connector on Windows Server Core Edition is now complete. Goto Breezy Dashboard to configure for mobile printing. You may log out of the print server, andthe Breezy Server Connector will continue to run in the background as a windows service.
Troubleshooting Tips
1. The Breezy Server Connector won’t install – doublecheck that the .NET 4.0 Client Profilehas been installed on the server.
2. No printers appear – make sure that the account with which you are installing theConnector has access to the printers installed on the server.
