Verification of the GHG emission inventory.

Speer IT Amsterdamsestraatweg 47 3744 MA Baarn Netherlands

1. Scope The scope of the GHG data verification visit: The GHG emission from Speer IT and Speer Works on basis of the allocation method. BSI was requested to verify against the criteria for limited assurance. The inventory verified was for the year 2015, the baseline year chosen is 2015 as well.

2. The criteria of the verification: The verification was to confirm conformity with CO2 Performance Ladder applicable parts of ISO 14064-1, ISO14064-3. The materiality threshold used by BSI to come to limited assurance is : 5% of the total amount of GHG emissions. Other applicable criteria are the emission factors as mentioned on the website emissiefactoren.nl.

3. Focus areas.

Focus areas for the 2015 GHG emission data verification were : Data Collection (incl. recording, reporting) , Metering, Data Processing, Activity Data management, Emission Factors Identification, validation of the scope and allocated external emissions.

4. The emphasis of the 2015 data verification work was on:

The identification of the types of potential material discrepancies that could occur in the GHG assertion.

Consideration of risks that could cause material discrepancies.

Potential amendment of the validation or verification plan throughout the validation or verification process to take account for any new evidence relating to actual or potential errors, omissions, materiality issues and the prevailing performance of the controls.

The completeness of the inventory.

Verification statement.

BSI was commissioned by Speer IT (the Company) to assure the Greenhouse Gas Assertion for the calendar year 2015.

Scope: The verified GHG Assertion relates to the scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions from activities and facilities and support departments of Speer IT and Speer Works on basis of the allocation control method.

As a result of verification procedures, it is the opinion of BSI with limited assurance that: The Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from Speer IT and Speer Works were 94 tonnes CO2 in 2015.

Nothing has come to the attention of BSI to suggest that the underlying data for the 2015 GHG scope 1 and 2 emissions are not fairly stated.

The Reporting Company Speer IT is solely responsible for the preparation and reporting of GHG Emission; for any information and assessments that support the reported data; for determining the Company's objectives in relation to GHG information and for establishing and maintaining appropriate performance management and internal control systems from which the reported information is derived.

In accordance with contract between Speer IT and BSI it is the responsibility of BSI to form an independent opinion, based on the examination of information and data presented in the Emission Assertion , and to report that opinion to the Company. BSI will also report if, in our opinion: • any information or assessments relating to the disclosed data are inconsistent with the verification findings; or • the verification team has not received all the information and explanations that it requires to conduct its examination; or • we become aware of additional information, the omission of which may result in the reported data being materially misstated or misleading. Without qualifying our opinion, we also report to the Company any opportunities identified for improvement in the robustness of emissions accounting and reporting processes (these are identified in the BSI report). We conducted our examination having regard to the reference documents outlined below. This involved examining, on a test basis, evidence to give us assurance that the amounts and disclosures relating to the data have been properly prepared in accordance with the rules and principles of the GHG Program, as outlined in reference documents below. In testing the emissions accounting and reporting processes, we examined elements at both entity consolidation level and a selection of local facilities. This examination also involved assessing where necessary estimates and judgments made by SMEP and Shell International B.V. in preparing the data and considering the overall adequacy of the presentation of the data in the Emissions Report. Reference Documents to conduct the Verification were:

- ISO 14065:2007 : Requirements for GHG validation and verification bodies for use in accreditation and other forms of recognition. - ISO 14064:2006 /3; Specification with guidance for the validation and verification of greenhouse gas assertions - International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3000 : Assurance Engagements other than Audits or Reviews of

Management Summary. Overall Conclusion

I would like to thank all the audit participants for their assistance and co-operation which enabled the audit to run smoothly and to schedule. Based on the objective evidence detailed within this report, the areas assessed during the course of the visit were found to be effective. There were no outstanding nonconformities to review from previous assessments No new nonconformities were identified during the assessment. Enhanced detail relating to the overall assessment findings is contained within subsequent sections of the report.

Areas Assessed & Findings. Speer IT has established a GHG inventory with 2015 as baseline year. On basis of an appropriate sample of fuel consumption, electrical power usage and gas consumption the data have been verified.

The verifier sighted a professional GHG collecting, processing and reporting model. This model was validated for the accurateness and completeness which could be concluded. Speer IT allocates the energy consumption and related GHG emission’s at site of contracted data centres to its own inventory.

One of the contracted data centres claim that they use green electrical energy. It is to be verified by Speer IT if this claim covers the complete electrical power consumption or perhaps a ration of that, this observation is not material. The fuel consumption data for vehicles is occasionally is a mix of data reported by Tom or the lease company and reimbursable staff mobility cost. This makes the verification cumbersome and the administration is to be reviewed for this issue. This observation is not material.

For the energy consumption as reported by True it was not clear if these data are based on estimated power consumption data or measured consumption data. This observation is not material.

Speer IT has estimated the energy consumption on basis of instrumentation that is in use and has compared these data with the factual metered data. The estimate result is 88% of the metered electrical power consumption which can be qualified as adequate and accurate.

The 2015 data are for the situation were Speer IT is based at the Bonairelaan 2 at Hilversum, mid 2016 the company moved to new location in Baarn.
