1. Enterprise Structurea) Company Company is a smallest and legal entity that isdefined by 6 letters in SAP. It has 3 required fields country,

currency and language. It is used for consolidation.

b)Company Code It is also a smallest and legal entity bywhich we can create balance sheet and profit & loss

statements of an individual company. 4 letters define it. It

has 3 required fields same as company.

c) Business Area - The function of Business area is to createbalance sheet and profit & loss statement below the

company code level. It is used for internal reporting. It is

also defined by 4 letters.

d)Plant It is defined by 4 letters.

e) Division It is defined by 2 lettersf) Sales organisation It is a place where all documentation

will be completed of a customer. 4 letters define it.

g) Distribution Channel It is defined by 2 letters

h)Sales office Optional field and it is defined by 4 letters.i) Sales Group It is defined by 3 letters.

j) Storage location It is defined by 4 lettersk)Shipping point

SAP Implementation Guide T Code SPRO

( SPRO Sap project reference Object)

Mpath > SAP menu > Tools> Customizing > IMG > Press Enter >Click on SAP ref. IMG on top.

SPRO - It is a transaction code for implementation guide where

all project done by different consultants.

Enterprise Structure

a) Define Company T Code OX15

M Path > IMG > Enterprise structure > definition > Financial

accounting.

Click on watch to enter > click on new entry > fill all

information i.e. 6 letters for company, name of the company,

city and country then save and back.

b) Edit Copy delete and check company code

T code EC01, OX02

Click on watch to enter the double click on copy, delete, check

company code > click on copy option on top Or press F6

For Company Code 1000

To Company Code any 4 digits

Press Enter > Click yes and yes > currency INR.

Press Enter till the screen remove then go back

Double click on Edit company code data > Click on position and

find your company code > the double click on it > change the

name, city, country and language > click on address white

button on top right hand side or press shift + F5 > remove

everything on the screen > Fill the name, county and language

> Press Enter, Save and go back.

Click on watch > New entry> any 4 letters for area> description

for business area > save & back

d) Define copy, delete, check plant T code OX10

M path > same till definition > Logistic general > click on watch

> double click on define plant > New Entry > Put any 4 letters

for plant > Factory calendar will be 01 > save > put the name

and country > Enter > back

e) Define, copy, delete and check division T code OVXB

Click on watch > double click on define division > new entry >

any 2 letters for division > save & back

f) Define, copy, delete, check sales organisation. T code OVX5

M path same till definition > SD > click on watch > double click

on define sales organisation > New entry > put any 4 letters >

name of sales organisation > currency > save > Fill all

information and back

g) Define, copy, delete, check distribution channel.

T Code OVXI

Click on watch > double click on define distribution channel >

new entry > any 2 letters > name > save & back

h) Maintain sales office T code OVX1

Click on watch > New entry > 4 letters > name it > save & back

i) Maintain Sales group T code OVX4

New Entry > any 3 letters >name it > save & back

j) Maintain storage location T Code OX09

M path same till definition then Material management > click

on watch > put your plant> Enter > New entry > any 4 lettersfor location > name it i.e. Bin No. 19 > save and back.
