Band Biography & “The collaboraTion”

The Ring of Fire: A Johnny Cash Experience

Busting out foot lights, delivering songs like no other Johnny Cash tribute and producing the

highest level of excitement; Andy Vickers and the 4 Ring of Fire boys bring true life to the music

and style that made Johnny Cash a legend. With the group being younger than most, they emulate

the golden era of Johnny Cash in the 50's and 60's. As tribute artists, they're able to bring a unique

edge that's attracting the next generation of Johnny Cash lovers and encourages even the most

mature fan to wander down memory lane. The group’s repertoire ranges from the "live versions" of

Cash's songs that started a new genre in music like I Walk the Line, and A Boy Named Sue all the

way to the most recent from the American Recording albums produced by Rick Rubin.

The WS Holland Band

Drummer WS “Fluke” Holland is known around the world as a true pioneer of American

Rockabilly, Country, Folk, and Rock & Roll. His driving “train like” rhythms and innovative

rockabilly shuffles are distinctively present on numerous iconic hit recordings including some of

Rock & Roll’s original anthems such as Blue Suede Shoes, Matchbox, by Carl Perkins, Folsom

Prison Blues, Ring of Fire, I Walk the Line, Sunday Morning Coming Down, Boy Named Sue

and dozens of other legendary recordings by Johnny Cash & The Tennessee 3. He has recorded,

toured and/or performed with the biggest rock and country artists in the business including Elvis

Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Marty Stuart, The Highwaymen, George Jones, Roy Orbison, Chuck

Berry and countless others. His most recognized claim to music fame comes as being the only

drummer ever for Johnny Cash’s legendary Tennessee 3 from 1960 until Cash’s retirement from

the road in 1997. Introduced by Cash himself as “The Father of the Drums” onstage around the

globe, WS continues to inspire, entertain and influence other musicians and artists around the

world today as he and his band, with Rockabilly guitar sensation Ron Haney continues to tour and

perform. Ron Haney is not only a guitar specialist but a proficient songwriter with numerous

published songs, a producer/arranger, singer and recording artist having written/recorded/released

several projects over his career who also manages The WS Holland Band.
