Graphics:

Graphics are visual presentations on some surface,

such as a wall, canvas, computer screen, paper, etc…

E.g.: photographs, drawings, graphs, diagrams, geometric designs, maps, engineering drawings, or other images.

Computer Graphics:

Computer graphics is a sub-field of computer science and is concerned with digitally synthesizing and manipulating visual content.

The image generation and processing using some techniques in the computer.

Raster Graphics Vector Graphics A raster graphic is an image made of hundreds (or thousands or millions) of tiny squares of color information, referred to as either pixels or dots.

A vector graphic uses math to draw shapes using points, lines and curves.

Animation:

A transformation is involved.

Derived from the Japanese word anime.

Computer Animation

Computer animation is the art of creating moving images via the use of computers .

Dimension

To measure/ measurement.

Measurement required to define the characteristics of an object—i.e., length, width/breadth, and height/depth.

One Dimension

Measurement of an object in only one direction E.g. A one-dimensional object is a single line. It has length but no width or height/depth

Two Dimension

The two dimensional object has any two

of the following:

•Length

•Breadth/width

•Height/depth

Measurement of an object in two directions.

Page 10: Introduction Computer Graphic

Three Dimensions

Measurement of an object in 3 directions/sides length, breadth, height.

The 3 dimensional object uses length, breadth, height.

Page 11: Introduction Computer Graphic

Process: Procedure, series of action .

Animation: The word animation means movement of picture.

Page 13: Introduction Computer Graphic

Get the idea of the story and discuss with others.

Page 14: Introduction Computer Graphic

Write the idea that you have discussed in the form of a short document.

This document must summarize the main idea of the story.

Page 15: Introduction Computer Graphic

Make storyboards like the hand-drawn comic book version of the movie and serve as a blueprint for the action and dialogue.

Page 16: Introduction Computer Graphic

Record the voice for actors.

Page 17: Introduction Computer Graphic

A reel is a video tape that allows the cleaned-up story board sequence.

Page 18: Introduction Computer Graphic

The art department creates creates inspirational art illustrating the world of characters (models).

Page 19: Introduction Computer Graphic

Convert the models that was designed in the story board in to 3-D in the computer using some application.

Page 20: Introduction Computer Graphic

After the models are made in 3-D, the scenes must be dressed.

Page 21: Introduction Computer Graphic

Translate the story in to 3-D scenes.

Page 22: Introduction Computer Graphic

Apply animation on those models.

Page 23: Introduction Computer Graphic

Models must be shaded using colors.

Page 24: Introduction Computer Graphic

Lighting completes the look.

Page 25: Introduction Computer Graphic

Joining all the scenes in to one film.

Page 26: Introduction Computer Graphic

Add additional effects 1. Sound 2. Actions etc….

Page 27: Introduction Computer Graphic

Stereograms are 3D images hidden within another picture. In order to view the 3-D images, simply stare at the picture until the image starts to take shape.
