determines how bright the lights will be 1 is the lowest setting, least amount of light 6 is the highest setting, most amount of light On each light, set it to 3 Transmitter – Signals all the lights Put a sandbags over the light stand if it’s over shoulder height Soft box – Whole point is to spread the light Diffusion – Softens the lighting to create natural Have your model 5ft-6ft away from the back Key light/Moonlight Fill light – Fills in the contrast/shadow of face Hairline light – Focuses on the of the head Reflectors – Bounces light
