It's a celebration of culture as KFAI takes over the Ukranian Event Center, 301 Main Street NE, Minneapolis, Satur-day, June 18th, 12pm - 6pm. Music! Dance! Food! Crafts! You! Music includes the International Reggae All-Stars, a truly global band with members from Venezuela to Trinidad, and Ghana to Kingston, Jamaica. Expect the best in reggae classics and say "hi" to Lynval "Golden Voice" Jackson from Caribbean Jam.

You can also expect Brazilian jazz from Xibaba, hip-hop from contem-porary Hmong group Pupils of the Storm Young, Hmong songwriter LoGaN MoUa, La Familia Torres-

Pena--who does mariachi and Beatles covers--and Shalita Shalita.

Dancers will come from Voice of Culture, a Black dance company

specializing in West African Dance and Drumming with an Afro-

American twist, and the Tiymba Dance Company, telling the stories of African culture, history, and peo-ple through traditional dances and

use of the talking drum.

After you work up your appetite dancing to the music and being

inspired by dancers, you can enjoy food from one of many vendors,

including Marla's Caribbean, serv-ing spicy food the way it's done in Trinidad and Tobago, Taco Taxi,

featuring traditional Mexican dishes from family recipes such as

burritos, tacos, and the Birria (soup Jalisco style), and the Khyber Pass

Cafe, the premiere Twin Cities des-tination for authentic food from

Afghanistan.
