INTRODUCING THE ETERNAL FLAME
A contemporary rendition of the traditional Ode Flame
The Eternal Flame came to life after many years working closely with veterans from all theaters of war and
peace keeping operations. Their experiences and values combined with the respect and appreciation I
gained were the foundations on which the Eternal Flame is built on.
This sculpture is symbolic of eternal life, a reflection of lives lost, sacrifices made and hope for the future.
• Eternal Flame Sculpture Dimensions: Height 57 cm, Width 40 cm, Depth 40 cm.
• Medium: Cast stainless steel polished to a mirror finish, mounted on a 316 grade stainless steel
base plate, stainless steel fittings, unique LED lighting system.

BEAUTY IS HEALING
This stunning contemporary rendition of the Eternal Flame comes to life with the reflective nature of the highly
polished stainless steel accentuating the flickering LED lighting system, depicting the essence of a flame.
As the lights are dimmed a beautiful comforting glow emanates and The Eternal Flame becomes a focal point
within your club or premises where people come together in remembrance.
This unique artwork offers a spectacular alternative to existing Ode flames, one that exemplifies your ongoing
support of our veterans and captivates its audience.

TESTIMONIAL: TOUKLEY RSL SUB-BRANCH
Approximately 8 years ago the Sub-Branch was endeavouring to find someone who could provide copper
artwork of an Army nurse for our display area. We were fortunate enough to engage the services of a local
artist and the quality of her workmanship left an indelible impression on me.
Leasha not only designed the Eternal Flame, but also engaged the technology to ensure that we have a
light which is visible twenty four hours a day. At night the flame is probably viewed at its most illuminated
time.
The flame was turned on by the Federal Member for Dobell, Emma McBride MP, on Remembrance Day
2019.
The comments from the community who have seen this wonderful addition to our cenotaph are all positive
and, in recent times, l, personally have been told that this is the most respectful memorial they have seen.
Although Leasha installed the eternal flame some six months ago, she has returned on a regular basis to
ensure that the flame is cleaned and in fine running order: another of the fine characteristics of this
dedicated and talented artist.
I am very grateful to Leasha for her knowledge and input in providing the Toukley RSL Sub-Branch with
something of which we are all very proud.
I welcome any enquiries on 0418 979 785 and would
highly recommend Leasha for any work in her field
of expertise in the future.
Kind regards
Bob Wilson President Toukley RSL Sub Branch – 2019
