The Application bar across the top contains a workspace switcher, menus (Windows only), and other application controls. On the Mac for certain products, you can show or hide it using the Window menu.

The Tools panel contains tools for creating and editing images, artwork, page elements, and so on. Related tools are grouped.

The Option Bar displays options for the currently selected tool. The Option Bar displays options for the currently selected object.

The Document window displays the file you’re working on. Document windows can be tabbed and, in certain cases, grouped and docked.

Panels help you monitor and modify your work. Examples include the Layers panel in Adobe Photoshop. Panels can be grouped, stacked, or docked.

The Application frame groups all the workspace elements in a single, integrated window that lets you treat the application as a single unit. When you move or resize the Application frame or any of its elements, all the elements within it respond to each other so none overlap. Panels don’t disappear when you switch applications or when you accidentally click out of the application. If you work with two or more applications, you can position each application side by side on the screen or on multiple monitors.

Tool Box

When you start Photoshop, the Tools panel appears at the left of the screen. Some tools in the Tools panel have options that appear in the context-sensitive options bar.

Selection Tools

Move

Used to select and move objects on the page.

Rectungular Marquee Selects an object by drawing a rectangle around it.

Elliptical Marquee Selects an object by drawing an ellipse around it.

Single Row Marquee Drag the marquee over the area of the image you wish to select as a single row.

Single Column Marquee Drag the marquee over the area of the image you wish to select as a single column.

Lasso Selects an object by drawing a freehand border around it.

Polygonal Lasso Selects an object by drawing a straight-edge border around it.

defined area of the object.

Click OK to accept the changes.

Here we see the picture file after the changes made…

Modifying Selection

Once you selected a picture using a Marquee tool to establish some changes then in case if you see that the selection is not as good as I want or as it must had to be, then you can use some tools which will let you to do so. Oil Painting

All of us know the difference between watercolour and oil colours. The base is water in first whereas it is oil in the second. For this we select the option of underpainting from the Artistic submenu in the Filter menu. In the dialog box, select the options shown here. You can however, differ with me and choose different options and click Ok to see the effect. Underpainting actually builds the foundation of the main painting.

Pencil Filters

The Pencil tool has been part of every graphics program the very first ones. The first thing to learn about it is that by holding down the Shift Key as your drag the pencil tool you can draw neatly straight lines at any degree. Another thing to note is that when you have the Auto Eraser function On, it works as both as pencil and eraser. The Coloured Pencil filter gives you a light, somewhat more stylized drawing from your original image. The crosshatch filter, applied to the some image retains mush more of the colour and details but still looks like a pen-and-ink drawing.

Chalk and Charcoal Filters

Since early ages Chalk and Charcoal have been used to make drawings. The same has been incorporated in Photoshop too. When you apply the Chalk and charcoal filter, which is found on the Filter menu, you will see that it reduces your pictures to three colours, using a dark gray plus the foreground and background colours that you have set in the tool window. Chalk uses the background colour and Charcoal becomes the foreground colour.

The Chalk and Charcoal dialog box has options for both Chalk and Charcoal area as well as the Stroke Pressure option. Stroke option varies from 0 to 5 whereas the others vary from 0 to 20.

hundreds of services used on the Internet. The Web is a global set of documents, images and other resources, logically interrelated

by hyperlinks and referenced with Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs). URIs symbolically identifies services, servers, and other

databases, and the documents and resources that they can provide. Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is the main access

protocol of the World Wide Web. Web services also use HTTP to allow software systems to communicate in order to share and
