Classification of weaves, Elementary weaves; Plain, Twill, Satin/Sateen. Decorative weave; dobby & jacquard, Identification of weaves, Field & Market study of woven fabrics

Module III: Textile Ornamentation 25%

Placements of design, motifs, Theory of color and texture , developing designs with the combination of different colors Hand painting,

Develop product based on Printing techniques; Block printing, Screen printing, stencil printing,
