EXPA Booklet For Exchange Participants

Why? Recently we changed our system for AIESEC operations and we are making this booklet, so then you, Exchange Participant, can understand

better how to use our system. Still, keep the contact with your Local AIESEC office so then can provide you a better support.

Your EP Flow on the system

First, you can go to internships.aiesec.org and login or register (if it is your first time). Make sure you put all the information needed there. And that you edit your profile. The less information you put, the hardest it will be for you to find a suitable opportunity. After this step, this page should appear to you:

1. How do I start?

Then it will ask if you are sure you want to go to a Volunteering experience (if you click on it) or an Internship Experience (if you click on it). Once you click on Yes, you won’t be able to see the other options, so make sure you really understand what kind of experience you want to go to.

What do you mean by that? Example: if you click on Yes on the Volunteering Experience, then you will only be able to See and Apply to Volunteering Experiences Opportunities. If you make any mistake at this stage, please contact your Local AIESEC office.

Now let’s say you chose a Volunteering Experience, so this should be the page you will see all the Opportunities that are available for you to Apply.

In this page you can put your own Filters and start looking for the Opportunity that you would like to go to. Once you find the opportunity you like, you can click on the APPLY buttom. You can Apply for more than 1 opportunity.

What if the Apply buttom is not working for me? Most probably it’s because you have to pay before Apply to this Opportunity and also to do your interview. Please contact you local AIESEC office so then you can proceed with the payment and also the interview. (Even if you were interview before and you paid your local office needs to mark you ask interviewed and paid before proceeding)

This  is  the  page  you  see  when  you  Apply  to  an  Opportunity.  

After Applying to an Opportunity, the AIESEC office will contact you to proceed with the process. At this moment you will make an interview and get to know your EP Manager (the person from AIESEC that will be responsible for your good experience delivery and to make sure that all your questions will be solved). You can see the picture, name and e-mail address of the person who is your EP manager, please feel free to contact him/her anytime about your questions!

Once you went through the interview process and got to know your EP Manager. The person responsible for the Opportunity you applied to, will Accept or Reject you for that specific opportunity. If you get Accepted, on your Dashboard, where all the Opportunities you applied are listed, you will be able to see a message asking for you to sign the Acceptance Note. This is an Internal Contract for AIESEC where it says that you accept all the conditions to go on na exchange for that Opportunity.

On  your  Dashboard,  if  you  go  to  My  Applica<ons,  you  can  see  this  page  

This  is  the  Acceptance  Note.  You  need  to  sign  your  name  and  accept  it.    

After this process, you just need to wait for the EP manager and TN manager contact about the next steps. You will receive more information about AIESEC, about the preparation you need to have before your exchange and all the documents you need to provide before going on your journey. Now you just enjoy your AIESEC experience in another country or territory and if you have any questions, please contact your local AIESEC office again.
