Registration process Registration with the Nursing Board cannot occur until the following process is complete:
Final DoCAT/MidCAT are signed off Outstanding time is made up and/or supplemental DoCAT/MidCAT
completed Timesheets evidencing outstanding time has been made up are submitted to
the Allocations Office here in the School. The College Exam Board has ratified the results The Partner Hospitals meet with the School to permit each student to go
forward for registration. The Students SIS is reading as “degree complete” i.e. that the student can see
from their exam results screen that ALL credits for the degree have been awarded.
The School Clinical Allocations Office will notify the students details of when to collect their An Bord Altranais Application for Registration Form (already signed by Head of School).
Student then brings the form to their own Director of Nursing to sign Then sends the form to An Bord Altranais for registration.
