Brief update on planning process for new science facilities

• School Committee accepted report of the Science Facilities Subcommittee 10/5/09

• Focal points of the report:– Increased lab area

– Updated power, gas, ventilation, plumbing

– Secure storage and prep areas

– Meeting/office space

– Shared new space- “Project Lab”

• Will recommend design funding at Town Meeting in November – please support!
