The de Silveren Spiegel wine list of 200 selections encompasses fine wine served in an historical Dutch Golden Age house near the heart of Amsterdam.

Our sommeliers & wine waiters are pleased to offer advice as well as to fulfill your unique requests; explore some of the best wines the planet has to offer, including many great and hard-to-find bottles from around the world.

Housed in climate-controlled cellars, the wines in our collection have been kept under controlled temperatures and humidity since their release, and many come direct from the winery, estate or Château.

We proudly offer Quality selections Served in Fine Riedel Crystal. The finest glasses for both technical and hedonistic purposes are those made by Riedel. The effect of these glasses on fine wine is profound. I cannot emphasize strongly enough what a difference they make!

The variation of food is even greater than that of wine. There are hundreds of ways to make starters or main courses. And every dish has its own wine to harmonize and enhance its flavours.

It's essential to develop a personal taste for matching wine with food. There's nothing more special in the world of cuisine than one’s “own Individual taste”.

Offers plenty of smoky, toasty oak, and enough ripe fruit to stay balanced, with flavors of cassis, black cherry and light herbs. 2015 Faustino VII, Rioja, Spain 86 points This round red shows a core of cherry and red plum fruit, accented by smoky and loamy earth flavors. Firm tannins and tart acidity keep this focused. Wine by the Glass Ports Quinta de la Rosa10 Year Old Tawny Port, Douro, Portugal 92 points Aromas of crushed berries and orange peel, with a hint of fresh herbs. Full-bodied, slightly sweet, with plenty of ripe fruit and firm tannins. Glass 55 cc € 12.50

2000 Fonseca Vintage Port, Portugal 94 points Medium-bodied, with a fresh allure to the flavors of baked apricot, dried mango and cherry tart. This is long and delicate on the spice-filled finish. Glass 55 cc € 15.50

Dessert Wines NV Torres, Moscatel Oro, DO Catalunya, Medalla de Oro Muscat du Monde 2006 Of a fine amber color, with dark topaz tints, it exhibits in all their splendor the fruity (orange blossom honey, candied orange, lemon peel, raisins), floral (rose, geranium, lily) and spiced (tobacco leaf, rosewood, clove) aromas of the Moscatel variety. 2016 Chateau Simon Barsac-Sauternes France With a brilliant yellow color, its nose is intense with exotic and citrus fruit notes. The attack is round and fruity, rich and fresh.
