INTRODUCTION

WHAT IS INTERNET OF THINGS ?Is a term that represents a collection of ideas, devices, and processes. Each thing is represented by a device or sensor. These things are usually working together to createlarger solutions by sending and reacting to data from aneco-system.

WHAT IS SMART CITY? A developed urban area that create sustainable economic development & high quality of life by excelling in multiple key areas like economic and mobility.

SMART CITIES THROUGH IOT

IOT can play pivotal role and the foundation for the smart cities goal. This is a brief look at how IOT plays a role in these services.

SMART ENERGY MANAGEMENT:IOT can be used for energy management in buildings and in the city infrastructure. Power saving can be achieved through smart lighting system in buildings and on streets.

SMART TRANSPORTATION :Connected vehicles with sensors and those in the infrastructure can transmit real time information, like vehicle condition, weather status, congestion or collision, this data can be analyzed by software and can be available through apps service to its citizen.

IOT FOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING(CIVIL)

IOT play major role in structural health of bridge which need to be constant monitored to prevent collapses that can occur suddenly due to high stress developed in the bridge

So sensors are connected to the bridge and . It has enabled them to set standards for performance that are then fed into the database, which then automatically sets off signals when stress levels detected in a bridge are over the acceptable standard value (or) set signal on to carry out any repairs or modifications.

nID-BASED SENSOR IN IOT(PHYSICS)

WHAT IS nID-BASED SENSOR:- It works with the help of tag(identifier) associated with the

object and used to detect an object’s attributes (eg:-temperature and location ).

Example image detection devices can identify the object and their activities and used to evaluate the scene.

And it is used in hybrid detection for IOT device.

WORKING:-Radar applies the electromagnetic wave to detect object, and obtain an object’s information by radar cross section, doppler (or) glint.

BIOCHIP IN IOT(ELECTICAL)

WHAT IS BIOCHIP ?a microchip designed or intended to function in a biological environment, especially inside a living organism.

WORKING:-It consist of two component Transponder Reader (or) scanner.o Reader transmits a low-power radio signal and activates the implanted biochip. o ID number transmitted by the transponder is received by the reader.o Reader displays the ID number on the reader’s LCD display. It is used to trace the person/animal anywhere in world

STATISTICS OF FITBIT FLEX DEVICE(MATHEMATICS)

It is a device which track activity , record workout and display in the form of stats.
