A simple End-User infrastructure example is shown: a Factory with existing machines, connections, Corporate Network and the Headquarters with servers, storage, software and PCs.

This diagram shows the IoE Smart Overlay points of integration into the existing IT Infrastructure. The sensors are attached to the machines and connections for monitoring. The Gateway is positioned in the factory and connected to the Wireless Network. The Platform Software and Cloud Services are remote Managed Services. The IoE Business Software Applications may run in the Cloud or on the HQ Servers. Users interact with the IoE data from mobile and compute devices.
