Certificate. By the end of 2009 more than 20,000 companies will
have qualified electronic certificates and citizens will be able to use the certificates on their ID cards.
E-document legislation is pending adoption in the parliament.
Broadband strategy is due by end of June.

The Ministry offered support to eBay/PayPal in facilitating communication with other state institutions and removal of barriers for market entry.
In response, PayPal stated that Serbia is already in their expansion plan for 2010.
The Ministry will initiate drafting a national strategy for E-Commerce (due by December 2009, laws and bylaws due by December 2010)
