Virtual Studio Set:

It is the PC based system that interposes the graphic background and the real person whostands in front of the blue screen and shows in a one screen. Generally, it is applied in a news or weather forecast.

1) Take a shot of the lecturer using a blue screenThe lecturer enables to check his or her appearance and acts being in a cyber space by looking at the interposed screen.

2) The contents in VS2000 are captured and saved to FD system. Then, the parts which is not necessary are deleted to be the program for the another usage. Also, the audio effect can be added.

3) The contents transferred to FS systems are organized as a broadcasting schedule and broadcasted in a scheduled time. Also, the background music or logo can be added and broadcasted for 48 hours.

5. Proposal on System Installation 5.1 Overview

Need to organize and install the lights, cameras and other equipment totally as the studio is where the original source of the original sound and video is created. The separate soundproof construction is not necessary since the virtual studio receives the audio of the lecturer using the pin microphone.

5.2 Components for Studio construction to record

Blue screen(or Key mat): stage with a wall or floor

; To compose the lecturer or actor with virtual space. About 1.5 x1.5~2m to shoot the upper half of the body, 2.5m x 2.5m or bigger to shoot the whole body and consider movement of the actor

MxTV system of Darim Vision capture and save upto 4 channels of MPEG 1/MPEG2 high quality video on file server real time. Saved video file can be used for producing DVD or VCD title. It is possible to stream the video real time and VOD to multiple clients using software without any additional hardware installation.

To realize this service, the sufficient bandwidth is essential to let multiple clients view the streaming video since it needs the corresponding bandwidth as many times as the clients connects. Otherwise the streaming video quality degrades accordingly.
