International Work Projects 2019–2020

Coming up in 2019:

October 19–November 2: Mexico City, MexicoAssist in completing the third floor of the Short Term Missions Centre located at the Atizapan Leon de juda Alliance Church.Work involves hanging drywall, mudding, hanging doors, plumbing, and electrical.

Coming up in 2020:

January 8–22: Los Cabos, Mexico Assist in the construction of the new church building for the Seeds of Grace Alliance Congregation.

February 5–19: Panama City, PanamaAssist our IW’s, Nick and Polly Tsang, with the renovation of an office building being purchased for the new home of the Agua Viva Alliance congregation. Work involves gutting all the offices and preparing a worship center. (This project still hinges on getting city approvals on time).

March 4–18: Santo Tomas, MexicoAssist in the construction of a new group home building for boys ages 10-18. At the Centro Oasis AC Restoration Centre.

April 4–18: Guacayvo, MexicoAssist in working towards the completion of the women’s shelter and Clinic in the Cooper Canyon of Mexico. The exterior and interior walls and roof are in place. Plumbing, electrical, main floor concrete, and windows are still needing to be completed.

Each of these projects can use from eight to ten people.

Cost is approximately $2,500 to $2,800 per person.
