The Northern European countries, known as premium denim addicts, have taken enthusiastically to the show, and the figures show it: Germany (+24.5%), Sweden (+24%), the Netherlands (+31%). To a lesser extent, the same was true of the U.K., which registered a 15% progress.

At this 9th edition:Visitors showed a keen interest in the «Up to Denim» show proposed exclusively for Denim by Première Vision by Isko™. The ambitious exhibition brought together complementary expertise - sharing a high demand for research and innovation - in a production line incorporating the latest sustainable technologies.

The same buzz could be felt at Bossa, which celebrated its 60th anniversary at the show with «Glowing Whispers», a labyrinth-like display that dazzled an eager crowd of intrigued visitors.

Orta Blu presented its «Buldan Project», a social initiative that promotes and supports craftsmanship and production in Buldan, a small town in the Aegean region of Turkey. The opportunity to observe a local craftsman, working on a unique loom.

Not to mention the Spanish-Brazilian firm Tavex, which proposed original denim shapes created live at the show, without any prior preparation, via «Impro Moulage».

Lastly, the «Ground Denim Gallery» unveiled the spring-summer 13 season through creations by the worldwide elite in jeanswear manufacturers and suppliers.

A season of true creative convictions where denim shows off denser, more intense and cleaner development. A clear opening onto an in-depth elaboration of handles that focus on much more subtle behaviours. Foreshadowing a generous and light fullness, a supple consistency, plays on dazzling fabric backs, and precisely eroded cuffs and borders, denim promises a generously colourful season.

After Atelier Denim at the Première Vision show (14-16 February 2012), the entire denim community comes together again next 23 and 24 May 2012 for more denim innovation and creations. The denim expedition will then continue in Shanghai with the brand new Denim by Première Vision Asia the third week of October 2012.
