Goals and Rationale
• Introduce other countries (Sweden, Germany, France)
• Offer Language Practice in the form of Maid Café
• Offer high-class service for the customers to enjoy their time fully in Maid Café
• Provide international Menus and a order pattern
Target & Expected Participants
• Attract as many cutomers (international students as well as Japanese students) as possible to the café (ca. 40+)
• Increase profit of the coffee shop
• Help students get to know a new language and deepen their knowledge of a language
• Expected participants:
– Japanese students and international students
Summary of the Project
• Greet Customers at the entrance of Coffee shop• Escort customer to their table and offer translated
Menu• Offer individual language practice with the maids or
butlers• Help customers read out order patterns and order
coffee in another language– Fetch order at the counter for them
• Entertain the customer– Enjoyable coffee time with Maid or Butler– Speak in chosen language
