Leadership and Volunteering Leadership & Volunteering is a really fun way to meet new people, improve your English, and improve your resume to help find a job once you’ve finished your degree. If you get involved with Leadership & Volunteering you can also earn an Award to put on your resume.

There are lots of different ways to be a leader or volunteer at uni or in the local community. You could be an international peer supporter or get involved with the ISC, or become a student ambassador or Mentor. You can explore more of the Australian bushland by getting involved with a Landcare group or volunteer with a local sports team. If you don’t know where to start looking for a leadership or volunteering role, come along to the free Volunteer Networking Lunch on Tuesday 9 Aug, from 12.30-2.00 in the Knuckle.

There’ll be great free food and representatives from many different local volunteer groups.

For more information about Leadership & Volunteering, email [email protected] or come and visit Claire in the Student Engagement Office (3N122) any time!
