A demand for the Styrian aroma hops made some growers enlarging their acreage. The USDA statistical reporting system is voluntary, and individual varieties are not reported if

three or fewer growers have the variety in each state.

Alpha percentages are reported as 10% lower than spectro levels, to be more consistent with EBC

results.
