NEW TEAMSWe are pleased to announce that in the first half of 2015 we started new partnerships with two
fast growing UK-based companies, MagenTys and Morar Consulting (part of the Next 15 Group),
and also new collaborations with larger corporations including one of the largest bookmakers
in the UK, William Hill, and the innovative Swiss-based company, SpotMe. After reaching
agreements and the successful recruitment and onboarding process, we are very happy to
welcome aboard all our new team members who are now a vital part of our continuously
growing tech community. We hope they already feel at home and will enjoy an excellent career
with us!

HAPPY 2 YEAR
ANNIVERSARY TO THE OFFICE IN PLOVDIVWhen two years ago we decided to open a
second office location in Plovdiv it was a logical
choice for us. Two years later we are extremely
pleased with the results team members based
in Plovdiv have delivered. The performance is
really high and reflects the highest standards
of performance in Questers.

To brighten everyone‘s day at the office on the first working day after the Easter holidays we organised an afternoon treat with fresh fruit, healthy snacks, Questers cookies and egg tapping. We got so inspired that we decided to introduce a new healthy living initiative – the Fresh Hour. Every day except Thursdays at 4 pm at qClub all employees are invited to have seasonal fruits to boost energy and mood level in the afternoon.

CHARITY EVENT:DONATING SHOES FOR KIDS
On the last Sunday of April Questers volunteers visited a children‘s home in the city of Vratsa to spend some time with the kids there, and also to donate 57 pairs of shoes bought with the money raised and doubled from the donation campaign we’ve been running during the winter.

We have been undergoing a massive growth in the last few months, so it was high time to invade another floor in our wonderful office building in Sofia and of course to celebrate this with good food, wine & games!

MAYLUNCH WITH THE GEEKS QUESTERS QA COMMUNITY MEETING: MOBILE TESTING + QUIZ
On 13th May with the active participation from the 20+ QA specialists
at Questers we explored what the difference between manual and
automated testing solution for native, hybrid, and web apps is. Our
colleague Venelina Beleva demonstrated what types of tests are
used for native app, Android native app, hybrid app (Android/iOS/
WP), mobile browser, and desktop browser and also the tools that
are good for the job.

JUNE
On 1st June when Children’s Day is celebrated we were very happy and excited to host a colorful Kids Party at qClub for families to gather for fun and games and to know where Mummy/Daddy goes to work.We are very thankful to all the families that joined us on this special day!

For a second year in a row on 7th June
Questers running maniacs competed
in the Business Run, a corporate relay
race for teams of four runners. This year
the number of participants doubled, we
qualified higher and supported a significant
cause - hydro, music and hypno therapy for
development of 20+ children with mental and
physical disabilities.Next year we invite YOU to
join!

BEYOND THE KEYBOARD
EFFECTIVE MOTIVATION AND CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK
On June 16 we organised a training open to all team members with
the aim to help participants develop their skills in the area of effective
motivation, self-motivation and constructive feedback. We explored
what motivation is, how to maintain a high level of self-motivation and
how to deliver constructive feedback. The team role-playing in the
second half of the training proved to be a valuable experience for the
participants as they were able to refine their feedback skills.

TRAINEE PROGRAMMEAt Questers we have always valued and encouraged
young talent and bright minds. Together with
our partner Javelin Group we have created a
6-month paid trainee programme that will help
fresh graduates further develop their potential
and become an integral part of a highly skilled
team. We are offering up-and-coming graduates
with potential, passion and desire the possibility
to master a wide range of technical, analytical and
interpersonal skills during the programme. The
icing on the cake is the week in London that the
trainees will enjoy at the end of the programme.
MEETING WITH TEACH FOR BULGARIA FOUNDATIONInstead of having the usual Thursday Beer on the
last Thursday of June we were pleased to host
a meeting to find out more about the cause the
charity foundation Teach for Bulgaria / Заедно в час supports, their goals and achievements
so far. We also got the chance to find out more
about the driving forces behind Vratsa Software
School which has the mission to create through
quality education an IT society in the city of
Vratsa to allow the locals to have a challenging
and well-paid jobs in their hometown.

HELPING BULGARIAN IT COMMUNITY GROWSUPPORT FOR PLOVDIVCONF 2015Questers was very happy to support the 3rd
issue of the technical conference PlovdivConf
2015 which took place on 16th May in Plovdiv.
The event was part of the IT Tour – a series of
entrance free conferences traveling around
Bulgaria and organised by a group of enthusiasts.

User Group we were happy to support a session
dedicated to the transition to Eclipse 4 and the
newest trends in Eclipse IDE which took place on
