P O S I T I O N D E S C R I P T I O N

The successful candidate will work on a diversity of land development planning projects within the greater Calgary area. The position is an opportunity to provide varied and broad planning and design support to the team to successfully achieve client goals. The candidate will work alongside seasoned veterans, recent graduates, and other interns within the urban planning and design field. The successful candidate will find themselves at home among a team that is dedicated, innovative, and solution-focused.

I CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the team on a range of site-based, local area, and master planning projects.

• Assisting with the preparation of various planning briefs and comprehensive reports.

• Assisting in writing policy and guidelines, including relevant research.

• Assisting with the facilitation of public engagement events and programs.

• Assisting with the preparation and delivery of presentations to decision-making bodies.

• Preparing concise and effective graphics, maps, and illustrations.

• Supporting the team and office environment as required.
