Interior Design AgreementAgreement THIS INTERIOR DESIGN AGREEMENT is entered into on [DATE AGREEMENT ENTEREDINTO] by and between: [CLIENT.Company] hereinafter referred to as the CLIENTand [COMPANY.Company] hereinafter referred to as the "LANDSCAPER." PAYMENTWe charge a Professional fee of Rs. 100/sq ft.1.1 Non refundable Twenty percent (20%) of the estimated contract cost, upon approval of theEstimated Project Cost.1.2 Fifty Percent (50%) of the estimated contract cost, at the start of the project construction.2. FINAL PAYMENTFinal Payment will be due and demandable five (5) days after the completion of the project andCLIENTs receipt of Completion Certificate. Payment terms are available upon request.3. COPYRIGHTCopyright for the Drawings and Specifications belong to the ARCHITECT and shall not be usedon any other project. The CLIENT may retain copies of the Drawings and Specifications forinformation and reference provided ARCHITECT has been paid in full for services renderedunder this Agreement.4. DOCUMENTATION AND COMMUNICATION CHARGESApart from the professional fee, the Client shall pay to the Architect Documentation andCommunication charges at a rate of 10% of the estimated cost in the respective stages.5. PROPERTY LINESPrior to the commencement of the Work the CLIENT should provide the Architect withinformation as to the location of plumbing and electrical points and all subsurface utility andservice lines. The Architect may rely on the accuracy and completeness of all such informationand shall not be liable for damages or costs resulting from any errors or omissions in thatregard.6. CLIENTS INSOLVENCYShould the CLIENT be insolvent, be adjudged bankrupt or default in any payment, ARCHITECTmay give notice of said default to the CLIENT and should said default remain uncorrected for aperiod of five (5) days thereafter ARCHITECT without further notice to the CLIENT may stopperformance of the Work or terminate this Agreement such that ARCHITECTs obligationshereunder will be suspended or terminated without limitation, the CLIENT will have the soleresponsibility to monitor and manage the safety and condition of the Premises and ARCHITECTshall be entitled to be paid for the value of all Work performed to the date of the termination.7. ACCESS FOR PROMOTIONARCHITECT shall have the right to access the site for the purposes of taking photographs inrelation to the Work both prior to and after completion of the Work and shall have and retain allcopyright in said photographs which may be used by the ARCHITECT at its sole discretion inreference and promotional materials, portfolios and/or publications.This Agreement constitutes the whole of the agreement between the parties and supersedes allprior negotiations, representations or agreements. Neither party shall assign any part of this

  • Agreement without the written consent of the other. No act or failure to act shall constitute awaiver of any right or duty under this Agreement nor constitute an approval of or acquiescencein any breach of this Agreement unless expressly agreed to in writing by the Parties.8. UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIESThe ARCHITECT will comply with all the laws of the Council of Architecture and State of[STATE], all municipal ordinances and all lawful orders of police and fire departments, and willnot do anything on the premises in violation of any laws, ordinances, rules or orders. If anyunlawful activities by the CLIENT should occur on the premises, and the Work is cancelled,there will be no refund of any kind from the ARCHITECT to CLIENT.9. AMENDMENT AND SUPPLEMENTAny amendment and supplement to this Agreement shall come into force only after a writtenagreement is signed by both parties seven (7) days before the start of Work. The amendmentand supplement duly executed by both parties shall be part of this Agreement and shall havethe same legal effect as this Agreement. IN WITNESS THEREOF the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be duly executed ontheir behalf by their duly authorized representatives as of the date first set forth above.
