Interim Report on the FINA OLYMPIC AQUATICS SUPPORT PROGRAMME FINA OASP Objective The purpose of this programme is to provide financial support to all of FINA’ Member Federations in their endeavors to develop and foster aquatics at all levels within their territories. Therefore, the objective of this programme is to enable the FINA National Member Federations to develop, strengthen and fine tune their activities in all its forms, including all Aquatic Disciplines –from grassroots to elite, for all ages and genders- as well as their governance, management and administration in order to improve the organization and professionalism of their operations and consequently become more efficient, transparent and independent. 2018 FINA OASP Participation Only those National Federations whose athletes have participated at the last FINA World Championships or FINA Swimming World Championships (25m) will be eligible to benefit from the programme. FINA OASP Objective The purpose of this programme is to provide financial support to all of FINA’ Member Federations in their endeavors to develop and foster aquatics at all levels within their territories.

FINA OLYMPIC AQUATICS SUPPORT PROGRAMME

PROJECTS COVERED The support shall be used to fund specific projects related to Development and Growth of Aquatics as defined below:

• construction, refurbishment or maintenance of facilities; • purchase or hire of sports material equipment; • technology resources (website, online raking, database); • technical support; • preparation and training of athletes, coaches and officials; • staging and participation at national and continental competitions; • talent-identification programmes. • administration fees;

The National Federation may decide on carrying out more than one project within the cycle. All projects will have to be submitted according to the deadlines.

FINA OLYMPIC AQUATICS SUPPORT PROGRAMME

ALLOCATION PER COUNTRY

The funding granted under the FINA Aquatics Olympic Support Programme for all FINA National Member Federations (subject to compliance of the OASP R&R) is up to a maximum of 25’000USD per year during the 2018-2021 quadrennial.

The funds will be transferred in two installments of 70% at the approval of the project, and a 30% once the project is finalized and the Federation has submitted the necessary documentation -full report, proofs of payment, evidences, etc.-.
