Describe platform:
In the day and age of Snapchat and Instagram being able to bully someone while hiding behind a screen has become far too easy and for too acceptable. At Taylor High School we are committed to showing those affected by cyber bullying that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and cyber bullying in any form is not okay. We strive to reveal that bullying is not just gossiping about someone’s new boyfriend or making fun of someone’s hair but instead has taken on a new form on the internet where gossip is spread like wildfire and there is absolutely no way to take back what is said (or typed). Too many people are given access to the internet without the knowledge of how to use it properly and how what they say will follow them forever. We plan to educate them, as well as victims, on how to handle and avoid being cyber bullied.
