dance with Luna Andermatt and graduated from London

Studio Centre and the Royal Academy of Dancing.

Between 1984-88 she was a part of Companhia de Dança

de Lisboa (directed by Rui Horta), and between 1989-91

duces numerous works, distinguished with various awards

and regularly staged in Portugal and abroad.

She is frequently called upon to teach classes and workshops

and regularly invited to create for other companies.

Her career is tempered by travel, by meeting with different

cultures and artistic idioms, especially in those border areas

between formats and styles, between the trained and un-

trained body and the desire of reaching one another, sear-

ching for a means to feel and understand the uniqueness of

each individual.
