FISRAEL GETS THEIR MAN

Of course you do not need towrack your brain too much torealise that all a governmentagency actually needs is anoriginal passport for comparisonand supplies of the correctmaterials for the forgers to go towork.

Enter Uri Brodsky. He wasarrested in Poland on 4 June asthe result of a warrant issued byGerman prosecutors, viaInterpol. This in connection forhelping to acquire a Germanpassport for use by a member ofthe Mossad-backed assassinationsquad in Dubai in January 2010.

Whilst German and Polishauthorities made the arrange-ments for Brodsky’s extraditionto face trial in Germany, Israel,unsurprisingly and very publicly,engaged in intense diplomaticmeetings for Brodsky to bereturned to Tel Aviv.

On 12 August, Brodsky washanded over to German person-nel at Warsaw airport and flownto Germany to face the chargeof Forgery, known to carry a tariffof three years in jail. A day later,Brodsky was bailed at aCologne Court to be dealt withby “written proceedings”. Hourslater, Brodsky arrived home inIsrael. A statement read:“Brodsky’s interests will berepresented by his attorneys incourt.”

The DiplomaticAssociation of the IsraeliMinistry of Foreign Affairs,DIAMFA, is striking to eliminatethe wage salary disparitybetween Israel’s Diplomats andCivil Servants, the latter work-ing within the country’s Ministryof Defence.

Many newspa-pers have run stories concern-ing the apparent need for anew inquest into the eventssurrounding his demise.Overseas observers and evensome from within British Islescould be excused for assum-ing this story is the work ofconspiracy theorists. However,nine senior doctors havepublicly given their reasons fora new investigation.

That revelation was followedby a short comment that givenmore evidence an inquestcould start. This briefly raisedhopes with many peoplesupportive of a fresh inquiry.

Nevertheless, Attorney Gen-eral Dominic Grieve said hesaw no reason to open severalsecret files which, we are told,hold the key to Dr Kelly’sdeath. That is irrespective ofMr Grieve having the full legalpower to gain access to thosefiles which will remain out of

sight for 70 years due tonational security.

It is interesting to note thatdespite having written on thismatter to campaigners, whilstserving as the shadow justicesecretary, Mr Grieve is nowhappy to state that it would beextremely unusual for him torequest the papers thatinclude not only post mortemand medical notes, but alsoother sensitive material.However, Mr Grieve hashelpfully suggested thatJustice Secretary KennethClarke make the decision onthe papers release.

The FSB had discoveredGabriel Grecu, the accreditedfirst secretary of the politicaldepartment at the RomanianEmbassy in Moscow, trying toreceive secret military informa-tion. He had “spying equip-ment in his possession at thetime of his arrest,” accordingto an FSB official.

Romania saw fit to retaliate bydeclaring a Russian diplomat,of similar ranking, at theRussian Embassy in Bucharest“persona non grata”.

With an escalation in espio-nage activities, one would becorrect to assume that the FSBand SVR, are operating on alevel not seen since the heightof the Cold War. There hasalso been an increase inpersonnel and control ofspecialist technical agencies.

Tentitled: ‘Why Russia Spies’.Forty minutes long, theprogramme examined Russianand UK intelligence collectionactivities. Of interest were thefailed attempts by Russiansubmariners to record the

sound signatures emanatingfrom the UK’s Trident missilenuclear submarine force,which the authority interviewedclaimed, were unsuccessful.But how does he know?

The programme started withthe sound of jet engines andradio messages from war-planes being scrambled tointercept the enormousRussian Bears that continue toenter British air space withtheir pods bristling withSIGINT equipment.

The documentary was timelybecause it coincided with aninterview with Sir StephenLander, Director-General atMI5 from 1996 to 2002. Withthe latest exposé of illegals inAmerica and their expulsion toRussia, one can hardly notrecall the attitude of certainnews outlets which claimedthe illegals were less thanprofessional and certainly not

serious. Some made thischarge in a most mockingmanner. But, for formerspycatcher Sir Stephen, thematter was anything but one oflevity. He stated: “They’re ableto put people in those posi-tions over time to build up theircover to be useful. They arepart of the machine and themachine is a very professionaland serious one.”
