Videonetics Intelligent Video AnalyticsVideonetics adds sense to surveillance by automatically analyzing and extracting meaningful and actionable information from humongous amount of digital video data. Based on a rich set of in-house developed video analytics engines Videonetics's different solutions have been successfully applied in diverse security and surveillance applications such as traffic management, crowd and people management, parking, building, retail and critical infrastructure/object management etc. Introduction of indigenously conceptualized and developed Deep Learning (DL) framework not only improves the performances of the existing analytics, but also paves the way for many new security and surveillance applications. Moreover, incorporation of the DL framework also results in true semantic analysis of the video data compared to syntactical analysis of the existing analytics. These improved and new surveillance applications are cost-effective and require low carbon footprints. • Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR): It localises and captures number plates, recognises the number (forboth moving/non-moving vehicles) and stores it in a database, with a snapshot of the vehicle for further processing.

• Red Light Violation Detection (RLVD): Automatically detects violation of red light at traffic intersections and capturesthe license plate of the violator in real-time, creates evidence of the violation both visual and non-visual, generates alerts and disseminates the information for follow-up action by law enforcement agencies.

• Stop Line Violation Detection (SLVD): Automatically detects violation of stop line andcaptures license plate of the violator in real-time for follow-up action by law enforcement agencies.

• Stopped vehicle, breakdown prediction: Detects a vehicle that stops on an otherwise busyroad beyond a certain duration, possibly due to a breakdown.

• Parking violation: Generates an alert when a vehicle is parked in a restricted area or a noparking zone. It detects vehicles even when there is movement of people on the scene.

• Parking area monitoring: Determines empty parking spots in a parking area. The numberof empty spots is calculated based on user-marked spots.

• Wrong direction detection: Detects when a vehicle moves in the wrong direction on a road.

• Sudden congestion, incident detection: Detects sudden congestion in an otherwise busy road or highway. Alsoindicates possible accident/incident by detecting sudden congestion, coupled with appearance of a crowd on a busy road, so typical in Indian conditions.

• Traffic volume estimation: Generates a statistical measure of traffic volume/flow on a road.

• Virtual loop: Video based alternative to the currently prevalent magnetic ground loop based traffic signal monitoringsystem. Detects presence of vehicles in multiple regions of interest in the scene, especially suitable for Indian traffic and environmental conditions.

• Colour search: The law enforcement agency can search errant vehicles using smart colour search technique, withhigh accuracy.

• Crowd formation detection: This estimates the density of people in ascene and generates an alert as soon as the density in any defined area crosses a certain limit.

• Crowd estimation: Once a crowd is formed, it statistically estimatesthe location of the crowd, number of individuals in the scene, their distribution, and statistics of their location in a zone (particularly suitable in a game field environment).

• Crowd dispersion detection: Detects sudden random movement of acrowd in the scene to alert a potential safety and security threat.

• Footfall count: Counts number of footfalls in a zone. This applicationruns on the video captured by a ceiling-mounted camera installed in 90° down angle.

• People count: Counts total number of appearances of people in ascene. However, if a person gets temporarily hidden behind another individual or some object, reappearance of that person does increase the count.

• People tracking: Tracks movement of one or more persons in thescene and creates the trajectory of movement of each person uniquely.

• ‘Laxman Rekha’ Violation: Automatically detects an object or person physically crossing a line. The direction ofmovement can also be configured and programmed. Multiple number of such lines of arbitrary shapes can be used in a single camera and multiple instances of this application can run in parallel.

• Intrusion Detection: Detects intrusion in a user-marked zone. Multiple such zones can be monitored in parallel.

• Zone monitoring/Loitering : Detects when a person stays beyond a certain duration in a user-marked zone. Multiplesuch zones can be monitored in parallel.

• Break-in prediction: Detects when a person in the scene approaches a specified protected zone. It allows the user toset the direction of approaching the zone.

• Face capture: Detects a person in the scene and locates his or her face, which is saved in the database, indexed andtime-stamped.

• Face recognition: Matches a captured face with a list of pre-configured faces in a face database and generates thematching score of confidence.

• Multilevel security zone: Generates alerts when a person is detected passing through a series of high security zones.A series of alerts is generated as a person crosses the zones one by one.

• Tailgating/Piggybacking: A tailgating or piggybacking event occurs when more than one person enters a door whichis authorised for the entry of one person only. Our video analytics software detects such violations.

• Fence jumping: Detects when a person enters a premise illegally, by climbing over a boundary wall or fence.

• Trespassing & trajectory: Detects a person trespassing into a premise.The trajectory of the trespasser is also traced and archived.

• PTZ tracking: On detection of an intruder into a scene, a PTZ camerafocuses and zooms on the object.

• Static PTZ hand-off�: Given multiple PTZ and fixed cameras, any fixedcamera can hand over to any one of the PTZ cameras, which then track the object in a close-up view.

• Only PTZ: PTZ cameras can be independently operational for detecting objects of interest in a scene. Once an object is detected, the camera tracks it in a close-up view.

• Unattended object detection: This solution works well in emptyscenes, as well as busy scenes with human activity. Multiple unattended objects in the scene can each be identified separately.

• Object removed: This solution works well in empty scenes, as well asbusy scenes with human activity.

• Unattended object & object removal detection, in parallel: Thissolution works well in empty as well as busy scenes with human activity. Multiple unattended objects in the scene can be identified separately, and objects that have been removed can also be detected.

• Artefact protection & theft detection: Detects when a valuable artefact is removed or tampered with, even whenpeople are in continuous motion in the scene. Also detects when the view of the object is disturbed, or someone attempts to tamper with the object.

• Obstruction detection: Detects obstruction in designated areas like a railway station, road, or in the midst of traffic.

• Camera tampering: Automatically detects tampering of camera – camera blocking, covering the lens, suddenmovement/displacement of the camera, lens out of focus, among others.
