Connect AiPlug to smart phone

• Download and install the FamilyAsyst APP from App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Scan the following QR code to get the right APP for your smart phone.


• Plug a new AiPlug into a power socket.

• When the light is on, the AiPlug will start AP mode and broadcast a Wi-Fi network.


• Follow the manual to connect the AiPlug to the Wi-Fi in the house and smart phone.


• After connecting the plug, you can and begin to control them with smart phone.

• As examples, we use two AiPlug on a water dispenser and a Wi-Fi router in our office.


• In Devices, you can see the AiPlug connected to this smart phone, and their status.

You can see the status of each device, and turn on/off them here.

• In Notifications, you can see the list of recent event notifications you’ve received.

• In Settings, you can share the authority to other users and set up event notifications.

Set up event notifications

Go to Settings, in Parameter Setting you can define conditions of events.

For example, we set up Standby power as 100W; when the power rate is over 100W, it will notify us our water dispenser starts to standby.

Set up electricity price here to let FamilyAsyst calculate power cost.

Here to choose to receive which event notifications.


In FamilyAsyst Notification, you can choose to receive notifications in what events.

• In this way, FamilyAsyst will send you notifications when the events happen!

• From Monday to Friday, we make the water dispenser turn on when we are on duty, and turn off when we leave.

• We make the water dispenser stop working on Saturday and Sunday.

• In this way, the water dispenser will not cost standby power when there’s no one in the office.


Share with other users

• FamilyAsyst allows you to share the devices to other users.

• Just go to Settings and choose Share.

• Touch on New to add a new user.


Input the phone number of the new user

Input the name of the new user

Choose to share which devices to the new user


• Now, we share the devices with colleagues in our office.

• They can use their smart phone to turn on/off, to set up schedules, to receive notification and to view the power consumption reports.


Watch the power consumption reports

Just touch on the device, and it will show you the power consumption report.

• This is the monthly report of this water dispenser.

• It calculates how much we’ve cost and saved; and tells how much CO2 emission has been reduced, and how many trees saved.
