The Home Dashboard

This is where users can see all of their IDP batches in one place. At a glance, the dashboard shows all completed batches, as well as batches that are on hold due to low confidence levels and require a human in the loop.

Batch Verification

After selecting an on-hold batch to address, users are taken to the documents within the batch. This is where the documents for that batch are stored. Documents that require human verification are flagged.

Once inside the document, Decipher IDP uses colored boxes to show the user where data needs to be verified.

From here, Decipher IDP securely stores the extracted data within Blue Prism where it is ready for RPA.

How Decipher IDP Works

Documents are submitted to Decipher IDP through Blue Prism.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Machine Learning (ML) recognize, classify, and extract data from the documents.

Decipher IDP flags documents and data points that need to be verified because the confidence threshold was not met.*

Validated results are returned to a Blue Prism work queue where the data can be used in RPA processes.

Proof of I.D. ValidationDocument types in this example include passports, driving licenses, birth/death/marriage certificates (without handwriting), and other forms of I.D.

These are frequently used in processes such as account opening, change of name, staff onboarding, insurance claims handling, and more.

Decipher IDP includes validation rules that can confirm the data extracted from the document matches what is expected and refer it to a human if it’s not.

In this example, the benefit is derived principally from the new ability to fully automate a process, which previously was only partly automatable.
