& The Illicit Underground AUG 13, 2020 NATIONAL CITY FREE TRAINING CLASS FOR ACTIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT This training event is being hosted by the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC), the California Narcotic Officers Association Region IV, Investigative Consultants, and numerous brand owners. The training will feature presentations related to the investigation and prosecution of various intellectual property crimes, such as trademark counterfeiting and piracy, and the sales of illicit pharmaceuticals and tobacco. Attendees will be taught what it takes to properly investigate Intellectual Property Crimes, and the real effects these crimes have on our economy. Attendees will also become familiar with how gang members and other groupsinvolvement in counterfeiting is raising money for their organizations.
