PIPELINE INTEGRITY

• Pipeline integrity is the state of a pipeline with respect to public safety, environmental protection, and operational reliability.

• It implies that a pipeline system is sound and capable of safely performing the tasks for which it was designed and is compliant with the applicable regulations and standards governing design, operation, and maintenance.
