ECO-SCP-MEDIntegrating Experiences and Recomendations in ECO-Innovation
for Sustainable Production and Consumption in the MED
Barcelona, 1st October 2014
ECO-SCP-MED project aims at creating tools to promote Sustainable Production and Consumption in the Mediterranean area through the integration of tools and methodologies implemented by different projects. Major objective is the creation of synergies among projects and partners and the building of a ‘network of networks’ in order to reinforce and enlarge the capacities of the classical, targeted and strategic projects to disseminate and transfer their results.
Learn lessons from previous cooperation projects and results in:
1. Sustainability of the products/services: Methodologies, tools and best practices for the identification and assessment of the main potential environmental impacts of a product or service over the course of its life cycle.
2. Sustainability of the production process: Methodologies, tools and best practices for the identification, selection and transfer of Best Available Techniques (BAT) and Best Environmental Management Practices (BEMP) to prevent and control the pollution caused by the activities of the production processes related to a product or service.
3. Sustainable management of Industrial Areas: Methodologies, tools and best practices to promote sustainable model for planning, construction and management of Industrial Areas.
